Laborum Malbec 2005, El Porvenir de los Andes |
|
Deep coloured wine with sweet smoky wood aromas combining with dark cherry and violet on the nose. The mouth feel is the purest cool, sweet, intense fruit - again the ripest black cherries, juicy sweet blackberries and blackcurrants with a finish that will still be on the palate in the morning. This wine is made at very high Salta altitudes where the grapes experience high day time temperatures but cold nights, which slows down the ripening and allows the flavours to develop an incredible intensity before the grapes ripen too far. This has to be drunk with the finest, thick cut rare steak. |
