Opalo Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Mauricio Lorca |
|
A top of the range Sauvignon Blanc that would compete easily with the best of the Loire. On the nose it gives the grassy, green notes we have learnt to love from a Kiwi version, but it is much more subtle. On the palate there is a hint of sweetness but well balanced with acidity and a dart of intense gooseberry but not overbearing. This will go well with chicken dishes, especially those with a richer source that needs something refreshing to complement it. |
